I was born in 1971 in Birch Hill, Rochdale and lived and worked in Rochdale ever since. After being a milkman and then delivering parcels around the town I entered the Hospitality trade.

I see and live it.

I walk around our town centre everyday, I see the issues we have.
I hear it.

You'll catch me behind the bar at Vicolos, working hard while I hear and listen to your concerns and questions.

A little bit about me!

Family

Happily married (well, mostly!) to my gorgeous wife Sarah, for what will be 25 years in 2024.

We have 2 children, Hayley, who is now loving life down under and Ben who is still at home but is working very hard in his chosen career.

Work

We entered the very challenging hospitality game some 9 years ago with 'Benjamin's Italian' on Sandy Lane.

We now have two venues in the Town Centre as well as two more in Norden Village.

The Future

We are continuing to invest in Rochdale with the imminent opening of our own brewery and tap, which will create more jobs and help make Rochdale the place to be.

Whatever the outcome of the election I am committed to make Rochdale a better place.

Parliament Duties

If elected it would be my duty to vote on new laws and policies in the Houses of Parliament. As your MP I would ask the people of Rochdale, via our website, how they would like me to vote. Whichever answer gets the most votes, is the vote I would cast.
You would also be able raise any constituents questions or concerns, which I would put to the relevant persons.
Local Duties
Many issues of local concern benefit from having the weight of a Member of Parliament behind behind them, whether that's a town wide issue, something which which affects an individual or all instances inbetween. I will hold a weekly surgery where you could speak to me and hopefully together we can get your problems solved.
